Mason Buck started racing go karts at the age of 13 at PGP Motorsports Park Rental League in September 2013. After 5 straight Podium finishes in the Novice Class he was moved to ProAm where he had 3 Podiums finishes. In February 2014 he got his first Race Kart.
In 2014, his first year racing Karts, 14 year old Mason Buck achieved many accomplishments; Champion LO206 Northwest Gold Cup Series, 4th place LO206 Class at PGP Motorsports Park Summer series, 3rd place LO206 Class at IKF Grand Nationals, 4th place World Formula Class at IKF Grand Nationals.
In 2015 Mason continued winning races in the Rotax Max CanAm Challenge and NW Gold Cup Series that secured more Championships. Mason repeated as NW Gold Cup Series Champion in JR LO206 class and placed 2nd in the Rotax JR class. He also won the JR LO206 class in the CanAm Karting Challenge Series and placed 14th overall in the Rotax JR Class in only his 1st year racing. Mason also led Team Swiss JR to a 1st place Finish at the Syd White Memorial 4hr Endurance Race and completed the year by Racing in Round 3 of the US Open in Las Vegas, placing 16th after starting the Final in 29th position.
Mason has started 2016 by competing in the Challenge of the Americas (COTA) Rotax Series in the Rotax JR Class. He again led Team Swiss JR to another win at the Syd White Memorial 4hr Endurance Race Setting the 2nd fastest Qualifying time overall. Mason plans on racing in the the Rotax Max CanAm Challenge with a goal of winning it and receiving an invitation to the Rotax Grand Finals this year in Sarno, Italy. He will also be Racing in the US Open Season Final in Las Vegas, select NW Gold Cup Series Races and LO206 Races at PGP Motorsports Park.
He hopes that one day soon he will be racing cars and competing in open or closed wheel Road Racing Events.
